Kirknewton is at the bottom of the photo. Kirknewton Airfield in the lower right corner, part of Edinburgh Airport is at the top left. The quarry on Dalmahoy Hill is prominent. Edinburgh can be seen beyond the distinctive line of the City Bypass A720 road. The cloud at the top right corner extends all the way to the English border.
