This Baptist chapel barely gets a mention in the most recent edition of the Pevsner Architectural Guides, but it is a reasonably pleasant if plain building. A tablet on the gable contains plenty of information.....Built 1752, Enlarged 1775, Rebuilt 1844. Obviously there was a good deal of non conformist fervour here in the past. Another Baptist chapel stands at the bottom of the High Street.
