Opened in 1854 by the London & North Western Railway at the end of its line from both Coventry and Rugby, this station closed in 1965. View west from the rear of the current station (to which it was almost adjacent but at a slightly lower level), towards Milverton and Coventry. The platforms had been in the middle-distance, behind where the fence is - contractors had just started to redevelop the site for housing.
