Opened in 1852 by the Great Western Railway on its line from Oxford to Birmingham Snow Hill. View north west towards Tyseley and Birmingham on a misty morning. The footbridge and lifts are a recent addition - see Image] for a comparison with 2011. The car park to the left is the site of a second island platform - this used to be a four platform station.
