Details of the main building, showing typical High Victorian frills and details that so typify the period. Happily, Victorian architecture is now properly valued, even in Herefordshire. The building's architect was Edward Pugin, son of God's own architect Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin. Construction started in 1863.
