The Perspex rectangle, affixed to the end of the wall, reads “Welcome to the Listening Wall. A safe place to express & release emotions through: A Loving Wall - Where messages of love, hope, connection, positivity & unity can be written and expressed publically [sic] on our chalkboard heart or The Listening Wall - Where more painful emotions of grief, loss, anger or fear can be expressed privately by posting messages through the letterboxes to a peaceful, respectful and non judgemental listening group so you can be heard safely and without the risk of hurting those around you”. The wall is part of the King Street Greening Project https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5506435 Details about the wall are also accessible through Facebook https://www.facebook.com/events/281349478880506/
