Battle of Jutland Memorial at The Royal Hospital School

The memorial bears the 101 names of past students of the Royal Hospital School who were casualties of the Battle of Jutland, May 31st - June 1st 1916. It also names the ships upon which they served. A total of 5,914 British casualties died in the Battle. Fourteen ships were lost. The German fleet lost 2,195 men and eleven ships.
