This leafy lane in the autumn sunshine is at Higher Chillington on the minor road from Windwhistle to Dinnington. This is almost certainly the route of the old Roman road the Fosse way but its route is very difficult to follow clearly between Dinnington and Axminster and Seaton where it may have terminated.
