Viewed from this http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5212763 footbridge looking in the direction of the line's terminus at Penarth station about 650 metres from the camera. At about 120 metres, the single platform is far longer than the trains which now stop here, on the Penarth branch of the Vale of Glamorgan Line. Until the 1960s, there was a second track through the station alongside the now disused and overgrown second platform on the left. Managed by Arriva Trains Wales, Dingle Road (Station code DGL) is a category F2 station. F2 is the lowest category, indicating a small unstaffed station with fewer than 100,000 passengers boarding or leaving a train per year.
