- Pillbox (unclassified circular): DoB ID: S0007077 Circular pillboxes of any description are very rare, and this one to the north of the city on the ramparts of Hilsea Lines is no exception. 16 ft in diameter, it has a low wall in front of the entrance (under ivy), and 5 embrasures. The inside is very restricted, and almost compartmentalised owing to the design of the ricochet wall which occupies much of the interior space. Image
