Across the Towy valley and beyond to the western hills of the Brecon Beacons. The rounded lump is Fan Gyhirych in the Fforest Fawr, and the distinctive cliff-face is that of Fan Brycheiniog, the highest point of The Black Mountain. This latter term is not to be confused with the eastern end of the whole Beacons range, the more well-known Black Mountains (plural!).
