Public house and hotel on High Street. C18 frontage, earlier timber frame; some original timbers are on view inside. Back bar, drinking areas to front on two levels and to left. An oasis of tranquility with no electronic disturbances. Cask ales on offer at my visit: Kenilworth Old Town, Ludlow Best, Purity Mad Goose, Wye Valley IPA.
