Under construction, and 5 months on from Image The £41million station will be an interchange between the rail line from Edinburgh to the Forth Bridge and points north, and the Edinburgh tramline which serves the airport. It will cater heavily for cycles, with 100 spaces, five lockers and lifts that will accommodate cycles. It was due to be completed by the end of 2015, but is now scheduled to open in December 2016 http://www.transport.gov.scot/news/edinburgh-gateway-interchange-shapes.
