Brock's Wood

Marked as Brock's Wood on maps, but actually a part of the larger Sherrardspark Wood, this is one of the largest and most important areas of oak woodland in Hertfordshire. It is criss-crossed by paths and this scene is close to the entrance on Digswell Hill.
