On the A50 between Knutsford and Frodsham, I passed this wonderful scene outside Fingerpost Farm; the unsold pumpkins piled high on wheelbarrows, some ten days after Halloween alongside a charming display of home-grown veg. Is there a more autumnal spectacle?
