Balloon Car 723 originally entered service in 1934.It was the first Balloon car to be refurbished with low-voltage equipment in 1993 and was a regular performer until the end of the 2011 illuminations. In 2013 it came back into service as one of the Heritage fleet. It was repainted in 2016 into the 1980s style Blackpool fleet livery.
