These two are seen outside Morrisons at Thamesmead every day at about 11.15 and again at 3.15. People have taken photographs of them in the past and said that they were the new security guards. They come from the nearby lake and they know that a member of staff will come out and tell them to stay where they are and then goes and fetches some bread to lure them back to the lake. He either lays a trail for them to follow or like today waves the bag of bread at them which they then waddle after. This was the 11.15 excursion and everyone knows they will be back again mid afternoon.
