This road was closed for a long time (see Image) but is now open, with temporary traffic lights. The fallen trees have been removed and the hillside above the road trimmed and covered in sheeting, presumably to contain any asbestos that might have slipped down from the tip, or perhaps just to prevent erosion due to rainfall runoff.
