I was told by a local that since the Image of Image the High Voltage transmission line is now redundant. It could be dismantled except that its replacement if plans to build Bradwell B power station came to fruition would need a whole new planning permission. If a new power station were built the 60 year old transmission towers would be likely to be replaced. Apparently Image feeds into the local grid.
