This sign has often intrigued me as I drove past. The sign, the barbed wire over the gate seem overkill for a field with a horse in it. Far be it from me to say I have a right to enter the field - I don't as it is private property and I considered myself fairly warned regardless of the over worded sign. For all I know the horse could be dangerous and may even have used harsh language when approached. Besides, trespass is a civil offence in Wales and the land owner can only sue the trespasser if damage to property is proved or prosecute if the trespass is deemed aggravated - e.g. the trespasser refuses to leave the land when asked.
