This segmental arch, stone footbridge is number 16 on the Ashton Canal. It has a datestone marked 1838. Locally known as the Camel's Hump or Jamaica Bridge, it is a Grade II listed building (Historic England List Entry Number:1356474 http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=1356474&resourceID=5 Heritage Gateway).
