Poulton-le-Fylde War Memorial Image was originally erected in Queens Square in 1921. When the one-way traffic system was proposed the memorial was moved on 1st August 1979 to its present location in Market Place. The names given on this side plaque are: Harold Idden; George McDougle; Arthur Millard; John R Minshall; William Moss; Job Mills; Geoffrey F Potts; James A Raby; John Ramsbottom; Richard Roskell; William Roskell; William Rossall; George Stanton; Harry V Storey; Andrew Tonkin; Richard Watkinson; John E Watson; Jack Wheatley; Frank Walker; Robert Whalley and Edward Welch.
