A small dwelling on Hay Street bears a crest - Gloucestershire Constabulary. The house dates from around the early 1970s and may have occupied the site of an old tollhouse. Marshfield had a police station at the junction of the High Street and St Martin's Lane for many years but that closed and this one took over for a while.
