The Great North Snowdog Es Tu Costa, apparently with a name that translates as "it's your thing" is located outside the St Oswald's Hospice charity shop in Jesmond. The Hospice has collaborated with the company which makes the sculptures to create the artworks and associated trail. At the end of the trail the artworks will be auctioned off with proceeds going to help the charity. The Great North Snowdogs are sculptures which have been decorated by a variety of artists and placed in various places around Tyne and Wear for a 10 week period in the autumn of 2016. Together the artworks form a trail that has been created with the St Oswald's Hospice charity. At the conclusion of the trail's life the artworks will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to St Oswald's Hospice.
