This is a popular and crowded destination on a very popular and scenic canal. It is hardly surprising that the Canal and River Trust have begun exploiting this by charging £6 a day for mooring overnight, here or in a small marina about 600 metres to the north-west. Arrive early in summer for a better chance of finding a space. It is less crowded Saturday to Monday when the hire boats haven't yet arrived!
