Towards the end of the annual jumble sale. Most of the crowds have already grabbed their bargains and left, but there are still a few customers eager to buy. The scout hut, in the grounds of Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, was built by the Scout Group in 1932, and is probably one of the most distinctive scout buildings in the country, boasting carved 'totem poles' on the veranda.
