Halfway up the three-stage tower of All Saints and close to a wall-tie is an intriguing marked stone. There is no other feature close by and the stone is somewhat isolated, many feet above ground level. The tower is dated to the fifteenth century, so this stone may indicate some work done before the Victorian era - which changed much of the old church.
