Dorking Bowling Club

Founded in 1912 on land in Drill Hall Road leased from Henry Cubitt, later Lord Ashcombe, who lived at Denbies. On termination of the lease, the club purchased the land. Henry Cubitt acted as club president from its foundation until 1943.
