With ongoing engineering work north of Newcastle, Virgin Trains East Coast (VTEC) trains again diverted over Newcastle - Carlisle on Saturday 24 September. HST 43296 approaches Haydon Bridge with train 1E03, the diverted 06.05 passenger service from Edinburgh to King's Cross.
