Once Brierley and Grimethorpe Secondary Modern School, it later morphed into Willowgarth High School - later to become Willowgarth Comprehensive School. It was shut down in 2011 and demolished a year later. The site is now earmarked for housing. See http://www.brierleyvillage.co.uk/photographs/photographsonline/BUILDINGS/buildings73.htm
