Diesel unit 156475 passes Low Row signal box with the 14.24 passenger service from Newcastle to Carlisle. Opened in 2009, this box was intended to replace manual signalling on most of the Carlisle - Newcastle line. Unfortunately, the money ran-out and the box only covers the section from Brampton to Haltwhistle, with no current plans for extension. A view of the old Low Row box can be found: Image] .
