Opened in 2005 and recently given a major refurbishment in the restaurant, bar and tap room. The pub serves food from breakfast onwards which is handy for guests in the nearby Travelodge hotel. The name J W Lees, at the top, refers to the independent family owned brewery of J W Lees, which was established in Manchester in 1828. Its Greengate Brewery in Middleton, in the north of Manchester, is still brewing today. Image Image Image
