The junction of Penparcau Road and Spring Gardens. Penparcau Road is the A487 which is the main route to the south from Aberystwyth. The hill that is in view is Pendinas which has a hill fort and a memorial to Wellington. Pendinas now forms part of the Pendinas and Tanybwlch Nature Reserve.
