Situated in Gretna opposite the Outlet Mall, nothing has been found regarding the age of this building - however, the floral displays are eye-catching. See also: Image] . Photograph is for record only - I have no connection with this business and all queries should be directed through the web site: http://www.gretnainn.co.uk/ John H has provided the following information: "Previously known as the Crossways Inn. The Gretna Garden City Heritage Trail describes this as the Crossways Canteen and Girl's Club. A timber building primarily built as a canteen for construction workmen. It was used as a cinema until the permanent one was opened. It was later used as a club room for girls and for medical examination of female employees. It is also listed on Canmore but without any supporting text. At some stage it came within the portfolio of the State Management Scheme."
