The sea wall is being replaced. The new wall is essentially the same height as the old one, slightly higher in places, but with a different profile. A crossing point is being built here, with steps and ramps rising to the top of the wall. On the left is some formwork for one of the ramps. A section of the wall itself is just beyond.
