View SE of the little ex-Cambrian Railway Shed, which was located in the fork just west of Moat Lane station, between the main line to Machynlleth etc. - to the left, and the Mid-Wales line to Llanidloes and Brecon - to the right. The locomotive is ex-GW 'Dean Goods' No. 2484 (built 6/1896, served for the ROD in France in World War One (1917-19) but was not one of the 100 'called up' in WW2 and survived until 5/54.
