From the south side of St Denys Road. Dating from 1868, this is the Parish Church of St Denys, in the Church of England Diocese of Winchester. Denys (also spelt Denis or Dennis; Dionysius in Latin) was a Bishop of Paris who was martyred during the Decian persecution of Christians in the middle of the third century.
