Located in Hawthorn Terrace, now converted to a fitness studio (left) and apartments. Harrison & Harrison make and restore pipe organs; amongst their many notable instruments are those at Westminster Abbey, King's College Cambridge and the Royal Festival Hall. The firm was based here from the 1870s until 1996, when it moved to a new workshop on the outskirts of Durham (H&H website http://www.harrisonorgans.com/ ). Another view of the building here Image .
