Looking across Aberystwyth from the old quarry in Parc Natur Penglais. In the foreground is housing on Buarth Mawr with Holy Trinity Church to the left of centre. Beyond are the retail parks situated either side of the railway as it approaches Aberystwyth Station with the Vale of Rheidol Railway engine shed to their left and Aberystwyth Police Station beyond. In the background is Pendinas, topped by the Wellington Monument.
