Stoneleigh and The Mews

Stoneleigh is a mid 19th century red sandstone classical villa built for Barton Wrigley, a Liverpool attorney. In 1871/2 George Pilkington the Chemical Manufacturer of Widnes bought the house. The low building to the right are mews cottages which feature a clockface.
