Lt.Martin-Leake memorial by Lytch Gate of St. John's Church. His grave is in the churchyard. Martin-Leake was the first soldier to win the Victoria Cross twice. First at the age of 26 in the Boer war and again in the Great war aged 38. He died in 1953 at nearly 80 years of age.
