Glaciated outcrops of the Dalradian metamorphic rocks lie close to the high-tide level. Large erratic boulders of igneous rocks lie on the shore in the distance. The view is completed by the Ardrishaig depot of West Coast Motors, providers of transport in the district since 1920.
