This is, wrote Niklaus Pevsner, "the so-called Old Manor House (the real Manor House has been demolished) a row of brick cottages made into one house, with gabled dormers and very pretty Gothick glazing". The cottages are thought to date from the 1660s, but the windows reflect the tastes of a later era. The building is Grade II listed: http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-457217-manor-house-#.V7SDMyiwHZY .
