Heathrow Airport from the air

The flight from Glasgow (operated by Jet Time on behalf of British Airways) is actually bound for Heathrow, but will circle and descend around south London before lining up for the final approach somewhere near the Isle of Dogs. The flight touched down around 12 minutes later. I have flown into Heathrow many times over the years, but this approach was a first for me. See the aircraft on the ground at Heathrow Image
