This curious old sign has ended up in a garden centre, Alexandra Nurseries. It reads: "Notice / The public are not admitted / To this tree belt and any / Person damaging trees or / Fences, dumping rubbish or / Lighting fires in this belt / Will be prosecuted / Town Hall Southwick June 1952 / A.R. Shott Clerk of the Southwick Urban District Council".
