A voluntary community initiative named 'Invergordon Off The Wall' led to a number of murals being painted on end walls of several buildings in the town. The mural pictured here was painted by Anna Smith in 2007 and depicts an actual event, when the town's Royal Hotel was destroyed by fire in February 1973. The mural is painted on a wall which faces the original site of the hotel - now occupied by a petrol filling station.
