Depot of the City of Carlisle Electric Tramway, which operated between 1900 and 1931. The building has seen recent use as a garage, but has been disused for some time and now appears to be "under offer". Its future is uncertain. For information on the City of Carlisle Electric Tramway, see Wikipedia at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_Carlisle_Electric_Tramways For a BBC article on the proposed restoration of the sole surviving Carlisle tram, see: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cumbria-23325794 Photograph is for record only - I have no connection with any parties involved with this building or the restoration of the tram, and cannot advise on their products or services.
