The name of the field according to West Grinstead's 1841 tithe map that has now become a plantation that is located to the north of Image The planting occurred fairly recently as an aerial photograph of 1946 has the field open as does a 1980s OS map. The former field drops down to an unnamed tributary of the River Adur.
