The GIS website states that GIS Healthcare has the Community Equipment Service Contract with the Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust for the delivery, collection, refurbishment and servicing of a wide range of medical equipment. In addition, it offers aids and appliances to people with disabilities, their families and carers, and the opportunity to buy equipment at sensible prices. GIS is also dedicated to the employment and training of people with disabilities. Any profit generated by GIS healthcare is used to support their continued employment. GIS also offers a manual wheelchair service, spares (where possible depending on age of chair) and repair.
