A surviving 1950s road sign (I haven't seen another one for decades) but note the modern yellow CCTV warning sign. Interestingly, there is another one further down the street (see: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/217561 ), so perhaps they've been preserved as a tourist attraction.
